COWLEY MANOR
-

Cotswolds, United-Kingdom
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, Cowley Manor is a Grade II–listed country house built in 1695, surrounded by fifty-five acres of landscaped gardens, lakes, and meadows.
Once a private estate and a source of inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, the manor has been reimagined by the Experimental Group in collaboration with interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon and architects De Matos Ryan.
Their vision merges English heritage with French design sensibility, checkerboard patterns, sculptural forms, and tactile materials intertwine with the house’s classical proportions. The interiors feel playful yet timeless, balancing texture, light, and geometry with a quiet sense of modern luxury.
