Black and White Minimalist Modern Classi

Lucie Bate-Williams

Originally from France, I am deeply passionate about art, design, and architecture. Living in Sweden, Switzerland, and now England has shaped my international perspective, influenced by Scandinavian minimalism, my regular travels to Japan, and contemporary European design.

Across experiences in London, Geneva, Stockholm, and Paris, I’ve developed a strong understanding of brand storytelling, visual identity, and the emotional connection between design and audience. My background in the luxury and design industries, supported by certified training from LVMH, the leading French luxury group, has strengthened my insight into how heritage, design, and emotion interact within a brand’s universe. I have also collaborated with major French institutions such as Le Bon Marché, La Samaritaine, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, the Louvre Museum, and the Eiffel Tower on various creative and development projects.

My work is guided by an aesthetic sensibility shaped by Japanese and Scandinavian design: simplicity, balance, and thoughtful detail. Beyond visual identity and art direction, I explore and curate brands, objects, and creative studios that reflect this vision. This sourcing approach is intuitive and personal, a way to highlight emerging labels, international brands, and designers who inspire me.

Through my magazine section, I share these discoveries with a design-oriented audience and with professionals who value craftsmanship, contemporary aesthetics, and meaningful creative worlds. It is a space to inspire, connect, and showcase creativity through my own lens.
